Kano Pillar FC coach, Okey Emordi sacked

The Head coach of Kano Pillar football club has been sacked by the club's management. A statement made available by the club's spokesman Idris Malikawa today, says the newly constituted Pillars Football board headed by Kabiru Baita approved Emordi�s dismissal.

Mr Emordi was dropped following what the club described as a "string of poor results" under him. Only recently, he led his team mates to a 3-3 draw against Lobi Stars in Makurdi. Pillars are ninth on the table with 27 points, nine points behind leaders Sunshine Stars and Enyimba.
